Landon Finch is an organist and teacher who specializes in training students to play with confidence, clarity, and purpose in worship and performance settings.
Education
Landon holds a bachelor’s degree in organ performance from Brigham Young University. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in the same field at BYU. His studies have included work with Lisa Bradshaw, Dr. Neil Harmon, and Dr. Mark Campbell.
Performance & Service
Landon has extensive experience as a church organist. He is currently serving as organist in his local congregation and at the Provo Seventh-day Adventist Church. He regularly performs for community events and has accompanied hymn singing at Brigham Young University devotionals in the Marriott Center.
Teaching & Leadership
In addition to private instruction, Landon teaches group organ classes to non-music majors at BYU, helping students develop the practical skills needed to play the organ with confidence. He has also taught hundreds of organists through stake training efforts and at the Utah Valley Institute of Religion, working extensively with students preparing to serve as church organists. He has also served as Co-Education Coordinator for the Utah Valley chapter of the American Guild of Organists and currently serves as a temple organ coordinator at the Payson Utah Temple.
